Interflight receives FAA approval for maintenance on US-registered aircraft

Interflight Aircraft Maintenance is now able to offer certified line support and maintenance on N-registered aircraft after receiving an official approval from the US Federal Aviation Administration this month.

Speaking on the news, Lee Sugden, Interflight’s Director of Engineering, said: “We’re delighted to announce the new addition to our growing list of capabilities here at Biggin Hill. We are particularly proud of this new capability because we are the only company within the immediate London area to be able to offer it. We hold approvals on Hawker 700, 750, 800/800B/850XP, 900, 1000, Hawker 400XP, Beechjet 400a, the Gulfstream 550 and the Embraer Phenom 300.

“There are plenty of US aircraft in Europe at any one time and we have already started talks with a number of customers about scheduled services. This opens up new markets and is the latest development in our expansion plans.”
